Not for now. The mailaddress is only be added as alias to your mailbox. The mailaddress you’re sending mails will stay the same for now. At a later stage of that project, we’ll switch over to @ista.ac.at as your main mail-address and @ist.ac.at will stay as alias – but more to that at a later stage.
It’s recommended to use ISTA as abbreviation for IST Austria. When writing a text, the Insitute should be introduced as Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) and then referred to as ISTA in short.

Documents do not have to be changed retroactively. For new documents to be created, the abbreviation ISTA can be used. We recommend doing this.
We didn’t. The Institute of Science and Technology Austria will keep its name. We allow the second abbreviation ISTA and the new logo to reflect the constant change of our institute and give it the modern, professional image it deserves. At the same time, we want to ensure an abbreviation that is spelt and pronounced as consistently as possible worldwide.
No. Until further notice, we will use the fonts used in the logo exclusively in the logo and continue to use the previous fonts in all other publications, digital or printed. For detailed information, see: Font Use.
Of course your ist.ac.at-address will continue to work as you know it. There will be no changes until further notice. You will be able to send and receive e-mails with it. You will just not be able to SEND e-mails with your ista.ac.at-address until September.
